Sauveterre-de-Béarn celebrates the Blonde d'Aquitaine!
The Blonde d'Aquitaine cattle breed is the emblematic figure of local livestock farming, and is honoured every August in Béarn des Gaves.
Each year, this marathon day begins at dawn with the arrival and installation of the farmers and their cows, and ends with a fireworks display. Throughout the day, there's plenty of entertainment to delight young and old alike. From craft markets and garage sales to the 'Borit' competition and meals...Sauveterre-de-Béarn celebrates the Blonde d'Aquitaine!
