Concert of French songs, le Petit Paradis

Seven classically trained musicians have come together to offer an eclectic selection of French songs. Without forgetting their fundamentals, they know how to escape from them to accompany the singer in a concert that moves cheerfully from the lightest to the freest. Experiments in the classical treatment of song are sometimes overplayed. Not so with Petit Paradis, who managed to find the right tone and let us enjoy a repertoire we know well. From Juliette to Claude Nougaro, via Barbara Pravi, Dalida, Renaud, Laurent Voulzy, Zaho de Sagazan and Maxime Le Forestier, this is a stroll through the French chanson of yesterday and today. Other tracks are purely instrumental, such as Gainsbourg's Javanaise.
